Yamato: The Drummers of Japan

Visitors who stay at an Asheville Bed & Breakfast Association inn already march to a different beat.  The same may be said of Yamato: The Drummers of Japan, who bring their energetic show to the Diana Wortham Theatre at Pack Place on Saturday, Nov. 9.
Founded in Japan’s Nara Prefecture in 1993, the Taiko drummers are embarking on their 20th anniversary world tour titled “ROJYOH: The Beat on the Road.”  Their lively stage act celebrates the history of Japan and has gained a passionate global following.
The Diana Wortham Theatre is ideally located downtown, a short walk away from Asheville’s best restaurants.  Two show options, 4 p.m. and 8 p.m., allow for dining before or after the performance, landing you back at your Asheville Bed & Breakfast Association inn entertained and well fed.
