Staying with a member of the Asheville Bed & Breakfast Association means you have the opportunity to ask your innkeepers about what to do and see during your visit. We’d love to recommend a favorite local festival coming up Saturday, May 17th, 2014. The Montford Music and Arts Festival is celebrating its 11th year as the largest one day free music and arts festival in Western North Carolina.
The historic Montford neighborhood is one of the oldest in Asheville and boasts beautiful architecture and plenty of walking on leafy streets if you want to stretch your legs. The festival is free to the public and held on two streets, Montford and Soco, not far from the Asheville Visitors Center. Two stages will provide quality music and entertainment throughout the day, and there will be over 100 vendors of art, crafts, plants, and delicious food.
You can spend the day strolling the festival, the surrounding neighborhood, and then perhaps head into downtown for dinner at one of our city’s fine restaurants. Return to your Asheville Bed & Breakfast Association Inn for a restful night and wake up to gourmet breakfast. It’s a trip that will be a feast for the senses! We look forward to seeing you soon.
