Taste of Asheville 2013

air 2013Asheville Bed & Breakfast Association inns represent the finest in local relaxation and hospitality. For the best in local dining, Asheville Independent Restaurants (AIR) offers its 10th annual Taste of Asheville on Wednesday, Nov. 20 from 7-9 p.m. at The Venue.

The city’s premiere culinary event, this evening of food, wine and beer tasting features over 40 AIR restaurants, wine sponsors, and local breweries.  Participating restaurants include Acropolis Pizza, Amborzia Bar & Bistro, The Bier Garden, Bouchon, The Cantina at Biltmore, Carmels, Chestnut, City Bakery Café, Corner Kitchen, Creperie Bouchon, Edna’s Of Asheville / Bad Puppy Coffee, Fig Bistro, Frankie Bones, French Broad Chocolate Lounge, Karen Donatelli Café, Jack of Hearts, Jack of the Wood, Jerusalem Garden Café, Laughing Seed, Lexington Avenue Brewery, Little Pigs Bar-B-Q, Luella’s Bar-B-Que, Mela, MG Road, Native Kitchen & Social Pub, Oysterhouse Brewery, Pack’s Tavern, Plant, Rosettas, Sante Wine Bar, Scully’s, The Social Lounge & Tapas, Strada Italiano, Sunny Point, The Social, Thirsty Monk, Tupelo Honey Café, Ultimate Ice Cream, Vincenzos, and Vinnie’s Neighborhood Italian.
Tickets are $70 for one or $125 for two and may be purchased through AIR’s website.  A portion of ticket proceeds will benefit AIR’s two outreach programs: the Chefs ofTomorrow Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships to A-B Tech’s nationally-recognized culinary program and the GO! Kitchen Ready Training Program, which prepares students to enter the culinary field.
The Venue is located downtown on 21 N. Market St., close to the Asheville Community Theatre and the Thomas Wolfe Memorial.
