This summer is still simmering and the Asheville Bed and Breakfast Innkeepers are always recommending Shindig on the Green! In 1967: Shindig on the Green was founded by Jackie and Earl Ward, Bob Lindsay, and Jerry Israel with the help of other Folk Heritage Committee members, as a place for musicians to gather and play on summer Saturday nights in downtown Ashevilles City County Plaza. This is the 46th year of Shindig on the Green and its third at Pack Square Park.
August 11th will be the next Shindig!
