The start of a new year is just around the corner, bringing with it the annual reminder to try new things. We’re happy to say Asheville has seemingly endless opportunities to try something new, especially when it comes to food and drink.
Asheville Bed and Breakfast Association guests know to expect the best when it comes to breakfast. We share the passion of our area’s food community for using fresh, local ingredients to serve a delicious meal. Asheville has become a nationally acclaimed destination for food, wine, and beer enthusiasts, and coming January 20-29 is Asheville Restaurant Week. After a memorable breakfast with us, you’ll have the opportunity to try a number of different restaurants for lunch and dinner at prix fixe prices ranging from $15-$30 per person. Some of Asheville’s finest chefs, like Katie Button of Curate and Nightbell, and Meherwan Irani of Chai Pani, are participating. There’s something for just about everyone here; vegetarian food at Laughing Seed Cafe, seafood at The Lobster Trap, excellent beer to accompany the meal at The Wicked Weed Brewery, and dessert at French Broad Chocolate Lounge. You can read more about participating restaurants and other details here.
Choosing which restaurants to try may be difficult, but settling on your lodging will be a dream. You’ll sleep well and enjoy a memorable breakfast prepared by one of our innkeepers. We look forward to seeing you soon.
