February 1-7th marks the first annual Asheville Restaurant Week. Asheville’s food scene is admired around the country, and our chefs’ committment to fresh local ingredients, creativity and excellence is clear in every bite. Self-proclaimed the first Foodtopian Society, (link to http://www.exploreasheville.com/foodtopia/?utm_source=foodtopiansocietydomain&utm_medium=urlforward) we have nearly 250 independent restaurants, 20 regional tailgate markets and a growing number of craft breweries.
Asheville Restaurant Week is your opportunity to sample many of these restaurants for incredible prices. Participating restaurants will offer a menu ranging from $15–$30 per person for lunch or dinner. Staying at an Asheville Area Bed & Breakfast means you will guarantee yourself days with 3 perfect meals and advice from knowledgeable innkeepers. And finally, if you’re really going to go all out, then attend Bites…and Sips, the official kick-off event for Asheville Restaurant Week. Join 20 restaurants, six breweries and the Biltmore Winery on January 31 from 6-9PM at the Kimmel Arena on the UNCA campus. Tickets are $50 per person and more information can be found here.
