To all the folks who visited the Asheville Bed and Breakfast Association member inns this year, we’d like to wish the cheeriest of holidays and a prosperous New Year.
And if you’re tempted to see what celebrations Asheville offers for the holidays, go ahead and indulge! Several B&Bs still have openings for Christmas and New Year’s weekends, and that busy week in between. Just check availability. Don’t forget that your hosts sell tickets to the Biltmore Estate, which is decorated for Christmas until after New Year’s Day.

If you can’t get a copy from your innkeeper, pick one up at the Asheville Visitors Center or Malaprop’s bookstore. The books make great Christmas presents.
Christmas in Asheville
December 7th, 2010 by Asheville BBA
Life is buzzing at inns in the Asheville Bed and Breakfast Association during the holidays. Two of our member inns were featured in the Asheville Citizen Times homes section during the past two weeks, fully splendorous in Christmas decorations. Two others were on the Montford Tour of Homes. All of them are decked out to help guests get in the mood for the Biltmore Estate Christmas Candlelight tours. Many of our B&Bs sell the candlelight tour tickets as well as the daytime tickets, so be sure to ask your innkeeper when you make your reservations.
Make plans to visit the Grove Park Inn gingerbread house entries during your stay here. The displays are open to the public only on weekdays, so take advantage of our member B&Bs’ midweek specials.
